Apple’s Imaginative and prescient Professional headset has been a flop, based on the newest report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. One purpose is its worth, unsurprisingly, the opposite one being “its cumbersome design”.
So Apple is now wanting on the future and the subsequent large factor, and apparently good glasses are it. Thus, the corporate is claimed to be presently engaged on a model of visionOS that is meant for good glasses.
Apple allegedly needed to come back out with a pair of good glasses as a follow-up to the Imaginative and prescient Professional, so presumably inside a 12 months or two, however “the technical challenges were just too great”.
So now Apple desires to bridge the hole between the Imaginative and prescient Professional and the good glasses by releasing “other devices in the style of Vision Pro” that might be cheaper and thus hopefully extra engaging to shoppers. These, nevertheless, are unlikely to ship this 12 months.
